Vendors use Find A Market to decide where to spend a weekend and a booth fee, so the list has to be one they can trust. Here is exactly how it works.
Results follow the sort you pick: distance, date, deadline or type. Nothing else moves a listing up. An organizer's plan, a paid account, a free trial or a founding offer has no effect on where an event shows up, and nobody can pay to be ranked higher. I don't sell placement, and I don't plan to.
Find A Market never handles booth fees and never takes a cut. Organizers collect fees however they already do, and the fee on a listing is information for you, not a purchase made here.
Ratings come from vendors who have worked a show. An organizer has no way to edit, hide or delete a rating of their event, whether they have a free account or a paid one.
What an organizer can do is reply. A verified organizer gets one public reply per rating, shown next to it. A reply never changes the rating or its wording, so you read both and decide for yourself.
An organizer can't take a rating down. I can hide one after reviewing it, and only for something like abuse, spam or the wrong event. A harsh rating from a vendor who simply had a bad show stays up.
